The location of HOTEL A. GAUD� could not be better: Madrid's Gran V�a at the intersection of Alcal� Street, a few metres from the Plaza Cibeles and Puerta del Sol. All of Madrid's main attractions are in walking distance from the Museum golden triangle to the Congreso de los Diputados to the "tapas" bars, etc. The remains of the building date from the beginning of the century, although it opened as a hotel only a few years ago. It was renovated in 2000 and still has the original neoplateresque fa�ade of 1917. HOTEL A. GAUD� has 185 rooms on 7 floors. All of them have air conditioning, interactive satellite TV with pay-per-view movies, Canal +, piped-in music, radio, telephone, minibar, safe deposit box and complete marble bathroom with a hair dryer and a telephone.
